WORKING EXPERIENCE:
Tengku Dato’ Seri Hasmuddin Tengku Othman joined Messrs. Hisham, Sobri & Kadir in 1990, where he is presently the Principal Partner. His main areas of practice are corporate and commercial law and Islamic banking and finance. He is among the legal counsel involved in framing the structural framework for Islamic banking documentation in the early stages of that sector’s development in Malaysia.

Encik Norsyahrin Bin Hamidon was appointed as Chairman of Theta Edge Berhad on 15 July 2026. A Chartered Accountant by profession, he has over 25 years of experience in accounting, taxation, corporate governance, financial management, and business advisory. He is the founder of Syahrin & Co., a chartered accounting firm established in 2003, serving a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries.
Throughout his career, Encik Norsyahrin has held numerous leadership positions in both the public and private sectors, including serving as Chairman of Invested Kumpulan Modal Perdana and Pelaburan MARA Berhad. He currently serves as President of the Malay Chamber of Commerce Malaysia (DPMM) and continues to contribute to various national initiatives, bringing extensive expertise in finance, governance, strategic advisory, and organisational leadership to the Board.

Dato’ Amrul Hisyam bin Alias was appointed as Executive Deputy Chairman of Theta Edge Berhad on 15 January 2026 and is an executive member of the Board. He is the Founder and Group Chairman of Stealth Group of Companies, a vertically integrated telecommunications infrastructure group with over two decades of operating history in Malaysia. Under his leadership, Stealth evolved from a project-based operator into an integrated infrastructure platform covering site acquisition, build-to-suit tower development, ownership, and long-term network operations. Dato’ Amrul brings extensive experience in telecommunications and infrastructure development, corporate structuring, project financing, regulated utilities, and capital markets, with a strong track record in building and scaling asset-heavy infrastructure businesses.

Shahrin, an award-winning ex Global CIDO, is currently the Executive Partner at Gartner Middle East, advising boards and C-Suites on digital, technology, and sustainability. Starting her career under Shell Graduate Leadership Programme in 2003, she rose the ranks taking up international roles across the board and founded one of the first digital ventures in Shell Fleet Solutions Globally. She became the Chief Information & Digital Officer for the world's largest LNG Marketing & Trading business where she led information and digital technology. In 2022, she was honoured with the CIO200 and CIO50 awards for her leadership in culture and diversity. Joining Gartner in 2022, she continues to provide strategic advice to clients across industries.

Datuk Megat Abdul Munir bin Megat Abdullah Rafaie was appointed as Independent Non-Executive Director of Theta Edge Berhad on 15 July 2026. He is the Founding Partner of Zain Megat & Murad, leading the firm's Kuala Lumpur office and its Corporate & Commercial, Foundation Law, and Litigation practice groups.
With more than 30 years of legal experience, Datuk Megat has advised boards of directors, public-listed companies, multinational corporations, and government-linked entities on corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, governance, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution.
Datuk Megat also brings valuable boardroom experience from his previous and current directorships in public-listed companies, including Sapura Resources Berhad, Tong Herr Resources Berhad, and Cypark Resources Berhad. His extensive legal and corporate advisory expertise strengthens the Board's governance and strategic oversight capabilities.

Dr. Maizatul Akmar Ismail is an Associate Professor at the Department of Information Systems, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, University of Malaya (UM), Malaysia. Her academic qualifications were obtained from Universiti Malaya (UM) for her Bachelor's and Ph.D. degree, and the University of Putra Malaysia for her master's. Dr Maizatul leads a research team in the areas of Information Systems specifically on Educational Technology, Recommender Systems, and Data Mining.
She has been actively publishing more than 100 research papers at renowned local/international conferences and highly reputable journals, and is currently an Associate Editor of Malaysian Journal of Computer Science. Maizatul has participated in many competitions and exhibitions to promote her research works. She has been appointed as Competition Judges for several international innovation competitions.

Encik Herman Syah Bin Abdul Rahim holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy (Hons) from Universiti Utara Malaysia and is a Chartered Accountant, registered with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
He has over 24 years of experience in private equity, venture capital, investment management, business development, and strategic transformation across Southeast Asia. Throughout his career, he has held senior positions including Chief Investment Officer at Kumpulan Modal Perdana Sdn. Bhd. and Investment Director at Proventeus Capital Sdn. Bhd., where he was responsible for investment strategy, deal execution, portfolio management, and business transformation. Prior to these roles, he was attached to CIMB Investment Bank Berhad and KFH Asset Management Sdn. Bhd., gaining extensive experience in private equity, mergers & acquisitions, and asset management.
He is currently the Executive Director of Sasoakai Resources Sdn Bhd, a CIDB G7 construction company, bringing extensive experience in business management, corporate strategy, and board governance.

Dr Shahril bin Simon was appointed as a Non-Independent, Non-Executive Director of Theta Edge Berhad on 15 January 2026. He brings over 20 years of leadership experience across investments, corporate strategy, and organisational transformation, with deep expertise in private equity, infrastructure, real estate, capital markets, equities, fixed income, and Islamic finance. His career reflects a strong blend of institutional discipline and entrepreneurial execution. Prior to his current role as Group Chief Executive Officer of Stealth Solutions, Dr Shahril served at Lembaga Tabung Haji, where he led investment management and performance monitoring across a diverse portfolio of strategic investee companies, driving value creation, governance enhancement, and turnaround initiatives. Earlier, he spent more than a decade with CIMB Group, holding senior leadership roles locally and internationally, with exposure across Europe, the Middle East, and ASEAN
